I love these shoes. I think it’s great that y’all are doing these re-issues. I’m stoked these are vegan. I’ve been liking all the vegan color ways that you guys do. I got the Muska as well, in the sand color. The only thing I really have a gripe about is the durability of the sole. I just feel like these sole wear out really fast compared to the last shoes I was wearing, which were the DC Kalynx. Even so, you guys are really the only ones doing the sick, vegan color ways, but I would say that it would be cool for the 197’s to be released in a vegan color way. Also I couldn’t find the Quattro in a vegan color way. I know they had the sand color before, but those were sold out online. That vegan suede really holds up, and I just wish there was a vegan suede color way of all the shoes, really. It’s just long-term a lot more sustainable to be using man-made materials. It would be nice for me to be able to skate a consistently available vegan model. Really though I like the chunky shoes and the Sophisto is not chunky enough. I’ll say it again, but the Quattro would be good in a vegan color way because I just feel like that’s one of the most perfect silhouettes. It reminds me a little bit of the legacy 98 slims, which are my favorite shoes from DC and I’m pretty upset that they discontinued them. Thanks for killing it for all these years. I just watched Menikmati the other day! ✌️

TWO NINE 8 is a classic, great work bringing these back, Es!

its not the sti insole in the picture as advertised instead its some other one and it puts a lump at the center side of your foot instead of keeping it a flat like all the other insoles . be ready to change your insoles unless you want a lump under your foot or hopefully get the right one as advertised. Disappointed on that and my brown accel ogs are the same size but look different and have a different material feel so i somehow got shoes that are from two separate boxes or batches which is very annoying and makes them noticeably look and feel odd. my pair of black accel OGs came with glue/rubber coming up the right side of the shoe making it malfunctioned and looks like its missing material so it sucks to have those problems out of box. i usually love Es but so far this was an annoying experience! hopefully yours will be better and i hope that es will reach out to me. Also what happened to the good days of atleast getting laces with new shoes? no extra laces is one thing but spending $180 and not even getting one sticker either. come on!

The black red color way is absolute fire!! Buttery material and super dope!! Tho I miss the OG sole, I'll take em all day!! Double up on the black red pair for sure!!

These and the 197s are great The only thing I have to complain about either one of the shoes is the soul If it was the original soul the same design and everything in the 298s if it had the same soul it would be even better same thing with the 197s if it had the little air bubble they used to have in the back and the same soul it would make those shoes 10 times better than they are and also come out with the 197s white leather with red sole just like back in the day. But keep coming out with these Hopefully you make the k4s again

Look like no other shoe, super comfortable out of the box, very padded. Flicking area for kickflips is much more durable than a shoe like the sophisto

Every shoe I've ever gotten from you that is size ten is amazing. Except the muskaz I got three pairs in ten and they all fit big . Not the normal fit I'm use too and I have 20 pairs of your shoes currently and have skated through way more then that since 2000 or 1999 . Please remake the scheme design in the original yellow. I buy every color way you make of them . 🤘

The shoes fit great and feel pretty close to the original. The ankle padding isn’t as thick as the originals. Also on my pair the left toecap doesn’t match the right toecap.
