Loaded with technology, but in a timeless package. The Caspian utilizes classic eS design language and simplifies things down to make a classic looking vulcanized shoe. But don’t be fooled by the clean exterior. Internally this shoe is packed with features to keep you skating all day.
First, so you don't have to read so far, the SIZING. My normal shoe size is 11.5/12. BUT, in Accel OG, Quattro, Silo SC, and probably all other capsule eS shoes, I wear a 13. 12 DOES NOT FIT. For the Caspian 11.5 is PERFECT. I initially orders a 13, and there was 1.5" of room (two thumb widths). Returned and ordered the 11.5 which has a hair less than 1 thumb width, which is perfect.
I've moved away from vulcanized shoes since they usually hurt my feet a lot, so the Accel OG's are my go to because they are excellent all around. I use my skate shoes as my daily drivers, so I do EVERYTHING in them, including work. The Caspian has to be the most comfortable Vulcanized shoe I've ever worn. I've been using them as my daily drivers just like I would the Accels and they are awesome. Board feel is killer. They feel like what you'd expect from a vulcanized shoe, just way more comfortable because of the STI insoles and the way the shoe is padded. The Accel OG's to me are the GOAT, but from now on I will always have a pair of Caspian's on deck.
As far as durability goes, I've been wearing the shoes for a few weeks now, but only skated them once. From one session, they seem like they'll be comparable to an Accel OG, but it's hard to say.
Now, GO GET YOU A PAIR.
I LOVE this shoes!!!
The Caspian is one of my favorite shoes. Not too thin on the soul, A lot of flex and movement, vulcanize sides grip just like glue, excellent bored feel, stylist yet no nonsense upper, and sturdy construction on a budget. Since these shoes have a lot less padding in them, they run a half size too big, so if you’re really into it, get a half size small, and they’ll fit you well. Put a pair of these shoes on, and there’s a noticeable difference over any other company in comfort, wear, and performance. I guarantee you these shoes will not do you wrong. Thanks!
The Caspian is a great vulc shoe. Great support with excellent board feel. Please make more colorways!
I have a bunion on one foot so I always have to stretch out my right shoe with a shoe stretcher. Thankfully, I didn’t have to deal with that with these shoes. They were a little tight on my right foot at first, but after like an hour it felt good. Usually it takes a couple days for a shoe to break in with my condition (bc one foot is soo wide in on spot). These shoes fit both feet almost perfect from the first time I tried them on. No other skate shoe company I’ve tried has been this easy to break in. Also, they skate really good. Atm, I’m skating these new shoes with a board that has worn down grip, they still feel grippy. Great shoes.
